I've known I wanted to be a therapist for pretty much my whole existence. I was the girl on the school bus or at the school lunch table looking for a real conversation — always searching for something deeper beneath the surface of everyday life.

Creative writing has always been another love of mine — but somewhere between all the sessions and therapy notes, I disconnected from my creative spark. I missed that part of myself and started filling up my one million journals in coffee shops everywhere I went. I'm a bit of a wanderer at heart. I've called these places home:
These moves have taught me firsthand about the challenges of staying connected. Everywhere I go, I find myself using handwritten letters as a way to show love to the people I care about. It's a love language for me.
And just like that, Love Letters Therapist was born from a love of mental health, creativity, and the ever-present yearning for human connection. These letters are a chance to expand on the meaningful conversations that typically spark in therapy — with the addition of my unfiltered humanness.

Before quick texts and AI existed. Because these letters are not only informed with professional support, but they are also words of love. And the world needs more love, especially now.
